While focusing on the candidate experience, we remain transparent in how we manage information personal data — which refers to personal information, sensitive personal information, and privileged information as defined by the Indonesian’s privacy law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations — collectively, “Information” — that we collect about you, as a jobseeker (“User”), in connection with our recruitment processes and your use of our products. Our commitment to privacy includes not only the protection of your data through appropriate measures, but also the use of these data consistent with our stated purposes.

When registered users or site visitors use our products, services, or website, we receive shared information, which we collect and process in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Indonesian law. Our processes are also governed by the Implementing Rules and Regulations and relevant data privacy-related issuances by the local regulator. The privacy principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality guide our policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Information.

Fill out this Personal Data Request form or send an email to cs@cakap.com from the email address associated with your account to make a formal request to access (also known as the “right to know”) your Personal Data. You can view the majority of your Personal Data by logging into your account.

You may request access to the Personal Data we collect, use, disclose, and “sell” or “share” about you. We will provide you with a portable version of your Personal Data. This allows you to take your data from us in an electronically usable format and transfer it to a third party in an electronically usable format. If you have interacted with a Site using multiple email addresses, please submit a separate request for each email address so that we may provide this additional personal information.

You have the right to have your Personal Data rectified (updated or corrected). You can modify the majority of your Personal Data by directly editing your account profile.

You may request that we delete your Personal Information. Also known as the “right to be forgotten,” Job Seekers may close or delete their account permanently. You can delete the majority of your Personal Data by removing it directly from your account. Please click “close my account” on your account page if you wish to close your account.

By submitting a Personal Data Request form, you may request the permanent deletion of your Personal Data stored on our website. You may also request the deletion of your Personal Data by sending an email from the email address associated with your account to cs@cakap.com.

The deletion of your Personal Information may have additional consequences for your account, as described in our privacy FAQ. For instance, if you have used CAKAP Apply or Easy Apply to apply for a job posted on our Site or an affiliated site, you may not receive certain communications from us or from other users of our Site or affiliated sites. The deletion of your Personal Data has no effect on the messages we process on behalf of third parties in connection with their use of our website, and these third parties may continue to access all messages sent to or received from you.

By submitting a request to delete your Personal Data, you acknowledge that you will be disqualified from all active sweepstakes, contests, prize draws, and other promotions.

Where CAKAP employs a third-party vendor to process Personal Data under its control, we will forward your request to these vendors and make reasonable efforts to notify other controllers of your Personal Data of your request.

Please note that a request to delete your data will only affect your Personal Data. If you submit a request to delete your Employer account, we will delete only your Personal Data and not non-Personal Data such as information about your company.

You have the right to object to and request restriction of your Personal Data processing.

Where we rely on legitimate interests as a legal basis to process your Personal Data, you may object to this processing and request that we cease processing your Personal Data in this manner, unless we have compelling and overriding legitimate grounds to continue.

In addition, you have the right to object to automated processing, such as decision-making and profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

CAKAP employs third-party measurement companies to evaluate Site and mobile Site traffic in order to better comprehend our users. A tracking code is employed to collect the following information regarding the Site’s usage:
